What’s up, dudes? CM Chuck from Just Another Friday Night and Jeff Loftin from Lost Christmas  join me to talk about ’80s action cartoons we wish had Christmas episodes! From Transformers to GoBots, from Voltron to M.A.S.K., these cartoons delivered action and adventure to the max! Unfortunately, they also left out the holiday cheer.

Qualifications

What exactly qualifies as an action cartoon? Firstly, the show must star a hero or heroic team based on traditional superhero, military, sci-fi, or fantasy archetypes. Similarly, they must fight an antagonist again based on classic supervillain, terrorist, sci-fi, fantasy, or horror tropes. Finally, they must possess a serious tone. Consequently, shows with established characters from other media were excluded. Sorry, Mr. T and Batman!
