What’s up, dudes? I’m once again joined by my brother Danny to talk all about one of the best Christmas movies ever! Yep, it’s “Home Alone”! What? You didn’t know Marley wasn’t in the original script, or that John Candy’s lines were improvised? Well, I’m sure you knew that it has the BEST Christmas musical score ever, composed by the great John Williams! And who doesn’t love Looney Tunes-style comedy?

Kevin McCallister’s family is preparing to go to Paris for Christmas. When the family starts picking on precocious little Kevin, his acting out causes his parents to banish him to the attic. One little blackout and downed phone line later, and Kevin is accidentally left home alone! While the family is in Europe, Kevin learns to survive and even befriends the mysterious creepy neighbor.

The plot really kicks into gear when the Wet Bandits arrive to rob his house. With all his cunning and ingenuity–and spunk–Kevin defends his house with traps and snares, and ensures the capture of the rogues!

This one’s got it all, especially quotes! My brother and I can’t help ourselves! Tar and feathers? Check. Random roaming tarantulas? Yup. Negligent cops dropping donut chunks on their phones? Definitely! So grab your BB gun, ice your steps, and zipline into this episode! Dig it!
