Parmesan-Walnut Bread
Quick bread with serious personality.
A no-yeast quick bread packed with Parmesan and chopped walnuts. Wrap it overnight for best flavor — then slice and serve with the holiday spread.

Ingredients
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 egg
- 1⅓ cups milk
- ¼ cup walnut or cooking oil
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
Instructions

Combine flour, Parmesan cheese, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.

Stir together egg, milk, and oil; add to flour mixture, stirring just until combined. Fold in nuts.

Turn into a greased 9×5×3-inch loaf pan. Bake at 350°F for about 1 hour or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Cool in pan for 10 minutes; remove and cool completely. Wrap and store overnight before slicing.
